Well in roughly 1 month the new expansion for World of Warcraft comes out.
So here is what we are looking at for the next 4 weeks; its obvious that raiding will come to a grinding halt all over once WOTLK hits, as everyone will be wanting to level to 80. At this point there does not seem to be any serious reason to concentrate on hard core raiding because alot of our gear will be replaced by greens/blues when WOTLK hits, so a few of us are thinking it is a better use of our time to prepare for WOTLK. so as of this moment raiding in Taint is not a priority, we will be doing raids casually over the next 4 weeks. I also suggest during this time that you save up gold, and even badges for the new expansion, collect mats for new stuff coming such as inscription, and the gold to buy all the new stuff that will be available. When WOTLK hits I want to see Taint memebers working togetehr to progress, and to gain steps, in doing so this will allow us to prepare for the instancing/raiding thats going to be involved in WOTLK, as we level we will develope a core team of people who will be core members of our raiding group that will be formed. we will use WOTLK as a spring board to launch us back into raiding and instancing, this time around things will be handled differently. I know some of you will race to 80, and that's your choice but I do recommend that you guys not do it too fast as not everyone will be racing to 80 and then you will be stuck at 80 waiting for others to catch up.If you do choose to race to 80 do not get frustrated while waiting for the others to catch up. Yes we seemed to have a rough weekend but things aren't over nor is taint merging with KoS as well we are not disbanding Taint.
Things have been reviewed and we are revamping and making changes to Taint. and we are getting back on track. I(Sevhan) will be more involved with raid management and we will be back on track and doing ZA and Kara again, runs are being planned now. There was a small slip, we will reestablish and continue moving, it happens even to the best of guilds. Thank you! Sevhan |

The lotto will run from now till the 10th of feburary. Submit your entry to "thejackpot" by mail according to the rules down below. How it works
We will announce the start of the lottery soon, the time period will be 2 weeks from the start of the lottery to the end of the lottery, this is so that there is enough time for everyone to see that the lottery is going on, if the lottery is popular, then once people realize we do it regularly we may push it to 1 week per lottery. During the 2 weeks the entrance fund will be collected from everyone who wishes to enter the lottery, 10% of all those funds will then be put into the Guild fund. The remaining 90% for each bracket will then be awarded to 1 winner in each level bracket. The winner will be chosen by a name in a hat method. Rules
You are only allowed to enter once per bracket.
You must enter in the bracket of your highest level toon in the guild.
If you have the money for the cost of a higher bracket you are allowed to enter into a higher level bracket but you can only enter into that 1 bracket and you can only win in 1 bracket.(Names will be pulled from brackets starting with the highest bracket)
If there are only 2 contestants for 1 bracket at the end of the 2 weeks, they will have their G returned to them. I will draw names on the 11th of feburary. |
